The ECM399 is an electroporation system specifically designed to produce the precise field strengths and pulse lengths required for the transformation of gram -bacteria yeast and limited transfection of mammalian cells.

• Voltage Range: 2-500V (Low Volt Mode)
• Resolution: 2V in LV mode with a 150 ohm resistance and 1050 uF capacitance delivering a pulse length of approximately 5 to 55 msec using a low impedance electroporation buffer depending on volume and temperature
• Voltage Range: 10-2500V (High Volt Mode)
• Resolution 10V in HV mode with a 150 ohm resistor and a 36 uF capacitor delivering a pulse length of approximately 5 msec using a high impedance electroporation buffer
• Easy three step experimental approach: simply initialize instrument, dial in voltage and mode with the voltage adjust knob, and deliver electroporation pulse by pressing the start switch
• Dual monitoring and display of peak output voltage and time constant to +/-1 percent
